Dealing With Insect Bites in Dogs

Dogs are naturally curious animals, they like to explore their environment. This curiosity often lead to insect bites. Some places simply have too many insects around and in this case, insect bites are not completely avoidable.Common areas where there is likely to be bitten by the dog are the exposed areas of the skin such as the face, head and stomach and between the fingers.Insect bites are not always easy to detect, especially in long-haired dogs. If the dog is excessive itching or tries to bite your skin, then you need to separate the hair and skin tests. The bite area is often swollen and red. Sometimes you can find the bug still in place, as in the case of ants. You must carefully remove the ant, do not pull, as this may cause the head of the ant stop being attached to the skin.
